The Matae originally named the Mateiss but changed because of a possible dispute was completed in 2006.  The building is a wood frame structure with the lower floors made of concrete and is located near on the north side of Belltown right off of Denny Way.  The buildings exterior is comprised of corrugated metal siding, concrete.  The building has studios, one and two bedroom units. The units come with hardwood floors in the living area.  North facing units face the busy Denny Way Street.  The units on the West side above the 4th floor have a nice view of the sound and mountains from their decks but who knows if they will develop the adjacent site. The first floor has 3 commercial spaces.
