I live almost immediately next door to the stadium in the Florentine. My unit is on the end, on the east side, next to Sluggers bar; not quite as close as the Stadium Lofts project will be, of course, but still pretty close.

My belief is that the SL condos will actually be quieter than most of the east-facing units in the Florentine. The reason is simple- the SL building is tucked in behind the stands, and there's no open-air between the fans who're screaming for the Hawks on Sundays and the building.

The Florentine's decks look out over Occidental and I can see several thousand seats from my unit's windows, but I never really have a problem with the noise on the gamedays (or the noise from concerts, etc.) The biggest problem in the area is, of course, traffic; but it's really not as bad as you'd think it is. Plan around the football games and you're pretty much good to go.

Hopefully this project gets moving soon- we could use more residential use in the neighborhood.
